In Echoes of the Transient we follow our main protagonist, Kairos, who wants to save his friend from death. To reach his goal, he decides to build a time machine. However, when he finally uses it, he discovers that what he built is not a time machine but a dimensional portal to a world where machines enslaved humanity 15 years ago. Kairos and his robot companion, A8PO, find themselves in a new post-apocalyptic world where, through multiple adventures, they must free humanity, find Kairos's friend, and locate the energy source for the time machine.

This game is only a short demo and it was my university graduation project which creation took about 6-8 months from scratch with 0 game dev experience.

Kristóf Bálint Anka has greatly contributed to the creation of this project, so a really big thanks to him.

Your game starts at 04:05. Excellent demo! Making it controller compatible was much appreciated. Movement was responsive and tight. The art direction was great and complemented the atmospheric vibe. Those bugs put up quite a fight and defeating them felt earned. The backstory gave great motivation and had us rooting for Kairos and his cool robot buddy. Looking forward to the full release!

I am beyond impressed...
